2009 Mercedes Championship
The 2009 PGA Tour Season is upon us. It really seems like these guys have no off season doesn't it?
As has been tradition on the PGA Tour for many years, the season kicks off with the opening tournament in Hawaii. There are two events played on the islands. This week the tour opens up with the Mercedes Championship, an event which is open to players who won an event on tour last season. The Mercedes Championship is played at Kapalua on Maui. A spectacular resort with an amazing course that is set up in the mountains of Maui over looking the pacific ocean, truly a breath of beauty to start off the 2009 PGA Tour season.
Last years Mercedes-Benz champion, Daniel Chopra will be returning to try and defend his crown. His victory at the Mercedes was his only crown of the year on the PGA Tour. Look for Daniel to have another strong finish at this years event.
