Jay Haas has won the 2008 Season long points championship. That's right, Jay Haas is taking home the hardware, the 2008 Charles Schwab Cup.
The players on the Champions Tour may not play as many rounds during the season as the regular tour players, but do they really need to? These guys are good. Jay Haas had an amazing season and took home the hardware at the Champions Tour season ending tournament. Although Haas was beat out in the final tournament of the year by veteran Andy Bean, he is still very happy with his season long performance. This is the second time in three years that Haas has won the Cup in the season-long points battle.
Make sure you keep an eye on the Champions Tour this coming season as some familiar names from past years on the PGA Tour make their debuts with the 'old guys', no harm meant by saying whats true, but these 'old guys' are sure fun to watch play!
